After 30 plus years in the financial industry, I finally get to do what I have always wanted to do. As a professor who has worked closely with many students since 2008, I have celebrated the success of many who found great jobs and supported all who are just entering the job market. The lessons in this book begin with a mind-shift away from being perceived as a burden to an asset, someone with whom others would love to work with. This transformation involves building a meaningful network, avoiding high-risk behavior, and controlling the narrative of one’s skillsets through their resume.
