The top shell (lid) is integrated with the proprietary Steel-Shield® construction, which features a several bands of steel as a structural reinforcement to withstand a pressure of over 100lbs. The interior with dedicated shoulder rest pocket and one accessory compartment. Both violin and viola Oblong cases feature a very clever music pocket design, doubling as a storage to completely conceal the integrated backpack straps if you opt for carrying with a shoulder strap (included). The Niteflash™, the strategically placed reflective strips, which becomes visible to drivers, provides another layer of protection.
